Prime Minister commits £16 billion of ‘new money’ to improve road networks

In a speech to the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) this morning the Prime Minister, David Cameron MP announced a massive investment in upgrading the UKs road networks which will include the 27. The Prime Minister revealed a plan to invest £15 billion between 2015/16 and 2020/21 in the biggest upgrade to the country’s roads in a generation. The £15 billion is in addition to £9 billion already being spent over this parliament.
