Applications for The Rainbow Fund’s Annual Grants Round have been open for several weeks. The closing date has been set later this year, on Friday, September 1, so that those involved in Pride have time to recover fully. No applications received after September 1 will be considered.
Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus prepares to celebrate Brighton Pride in style with their new production, Showtime. For its Pride show 2017 the Chorus has chosen a new format to showcase its talent and celebrate the rich diversity of musicals and show tunes.
The Rainbow Fund 2017/18 grants programme is now open. The Rainbow Fund makes grants to organisations delivering effective front line services to LGBT+ people in Brighton and Hove. The Fund’s Independent Grants Panel will consider applications for core funding up to £1,800 from local LGBT+ and HIV related groups and organisations who are members of, and regular participants at, the LGBT+ small groups network.

The Autumn Grants Round is the bigger of the Fund’s two annual grant rounds. Applications are invited from local LGBT and HIV organisations in Brighton and Hove who provide effective front line services to LGBT people in the city.
Charles Childs the owner of Dr Brightons handed over a cheque to Chris Gull, the Chair of the rainbow fund for £3687.46p. The money was raised week by week during the last 12 months from selling shots, small weekend fundraising initiatives and Dr Brighton’s birthday parties.
