The late James Ledward, founder of Gscene magazine (now Scene magazine), the Brighton Rainbow Fund, and responsible for commissioning the Brighton AIDS Memorial ‘TAY’, is to have a ‘friendship bench’ dedicated to his memory installed right by the memorial in New Steine Gardens.
The Brighton Rainbow Fund is the central hub for fundraising within Brighton & Hove’s LGBTQ+ communities, and distributes grants to local projects which benefit, and make a difference, to the lives of hundreds of individuals within those communities.
Chris Marshall, landlord at Charles Street Tap, is hosting the 14th Annual Charity Birthday Bash with the support of the cream of the cabaret scene, to raise vital funds for the Brighton Rainbow Fund to distribute to local LGBTQ+ and HIV projects. The Birthday Party kicks off on Sunday, September 3 at 6.30pm.
