Eurovision sensation Nicky French to headline ‘Dine with the Stars’ dinner, dance, cabaret extravaganza celebrating LGBT History Month 2018. A group of LGBT+people from Brighton and the surrounding area have come together to run the Brighton half marathon in February 2018 to raise much-needed funds for the Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum (B&H LGBT CSF).

Recently appointed Sussex Police Commander for Brighton & Hove, Chief Superintendent Lisa Bell attended the July public meeting of the LGBT Community Safety Forum to hand over a cheque for £1,500 to the forum.
The Village MCC Church will be assisting the Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum in the access area at the Summer of Love Pride festival on Saturday, August 5 on Preston Park. They will be offering temporary tattoos, card readings and providing a listening ear post.
New Steine Hotel support the Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum (LGBT CSF) and its initiative Accessibility Matters. The New Steine Hotel at 10-11 New Steine, Brighton have supported Accessibility Matters by donating two portable wheel chairs.
Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum (LGBT CSF) join with the Village Metropolitan Church this year to deliver some activities taking place within the Access tent/area for Accessibility Matters at Brighton Pride.
Last summer hundreds of people used the Access Facilities at Brighton Pride delivered by the volunteers of the Brighton & Hove LGBT Community Safety Forum through their Accessibility Matters initiative. Working in partnership with Brighton Pride, Accessibility Matters has made significant progress in ensuring the event is accessible to everyone.
A new exhibition at Brighton’s Jubilee library runs till February 26 highlighting the good work of Accessibility Matters at Pride last year in Brighton & Hove. Curated and designed by the Brighton & Hove, LGBT Community Safety Forum (B&H LGBT CSF) with the kind support of the Community Safety Team at Brighton & Hove City Council.
