East Sussex Credit Union promotion offers reduced rates for larger loans.
East Sussex Credit Union (ECSU) has launched Your little piece of sunshine a new promotion that will reduce the cost of its larger loans by a full 1.00% AER.
Ann Hickey, General Manager at ESCU says: “Although we have a growing reputation for providing smaller personal loans to our members, we can actually lend up to £25,000 and want to spread the good news. Aside from those members wanting to borrow for a car, home improvements or family events like a wedding, we also want to support small, local businesses – especially start ups or those looking to expand their existing operations. Hopefully this promotion will attract those looking for a more affordable, ethical alternative to borrowing from a High Street lender.”
More affordable options
The Your Little Piece of Sunshine reduced rate offer is exclusively available for loans agreed from April 13 2015 for new and existing members of East Sussex Credit Union and for loan values from £10,000 up to £25,000 (£15,000 net of savings).
Ann continued: “With this new promotion we want to offer a little ray of sunshine by offering reduced loan rates for local people seeking larger loans, particularly those who might not enjoy a ‘squeaky clean’ credit record. Unlike most competitors, we don’t charge any arrangement fees, nor do we charge for early repayment. All our loans also include a mandatory savings element, meaning that come the end of the loan period there is a nice cash sum that can provide valuable additional security and help create a buffer in the event of unexpected future expenses. And for those that have some credit issues in their past – a loan with us will help to rebuild their credit score”.
