Sunday, August 3 is no day for rest as Fatboy Slim, Jodie Harsh, Jaguar and Eliza Rose take the decks, plus many others. Set to be an unforgettable weekend, False Idols will once again be curated in part by the Broadwick Live team, along with the teams behind Little Gay Brother and Percolate.

Beth Ditto

The highlight of their 2024 Drumsheds takeover, False Idols will also bring their legendary Closing Ceremony to Pride’s Main Stage on the Sunday with special guests Beth Ditto, Sonique, Ultra Naté, Little Gay Brother and Joshua James for a kaleidoscopic conclusion to the weekend’s epic celebrations.

Having received recognition from the likes of Radio 1 Dance ‘Best UK Clubbing Event’, False Idols has quickly cemented itself as one of London’s most iconic queer events, pushing boundaries above and beyond. It’s a fresh, uplifting cultural movement with a rebellious and fun manifesto; a party built with new energy and creative consciousness.

Managing Director Paul Kemp comments: ‘We are thrilled to be partnering with Little Gay Brother to bring False Idols to this year’s Pride on the Park for a dance tent takeover! They are trailblazers in celebrating alternative club culture, dance floor liberation and self-expression. This year’s line-up is incredible and we’re so excited to welcome such a diverse array of talent, including Brighton’s own Fatboy Slim, Romy, Jodie Harsh, Katy B and many others!”

Brighton Pride Parade

The annual and widely beloved LGBTQ+ Community Parade will kickstart Pride weekend under this year’s theme of Ravishing Rage. Ravishing Rage is more than a parade; it’s a celebration of resilience, spirit, passion and unity. Be louder than ever, shine brighter than before, dance in protest and march in celebration because fury never felt so fierce!

The parade will erupt through the city in spectacular colour and style, delighting the thousands of people who take to the streets to revere the event which showcases over 100 LGBTQ+ charities, community groups and small businesses, emergency services, the NHS and representatives of other Pride organisations.
