Older & Out Lunch Club

The next Older & Out will be this Friday 10 January 2020 from 12.30pm at the Somerset Centre.

They’ll be having fish and chips, with veggie burgers for the vegetarians.

This month there are two special  guests: Jayne Babb from Brighton Pride will be there to tell everyone about ways you can get involved this year; and Ali McNealy from Sussex Community NHS Foundation returns with another informative talk about oral health.

Older and out are also offering  an invitation to the launch of Hear Us Out, a new verbatim theatre festival created by New Writing South that celebrates the voices of older LGBTQ+ people.

The launch event will take place at 6pm on Thursday 16 January at 68 Middle Street – you can book tickets here

Older and Out are a fully inclusive social group for local older LGBTQUI people.  They are based in central Brighton and are open to all.

Every month they provide a social network and community space in our fully accessible Centre where you’ll get the chance to socialise and meet new people.

They provide a tasty, nutritious lunch along with the socialising, and feature different  guest speakers and facilitate discussion groups/ workshops on issues and topics of interest to members.
