LICK – a new London club for queer women

Graham Robson July 13, 2019

LICK, branded as London’s first club for queer women, launches at 6a South Lambeth Place, Vauxhall, London on Saturday, July 13 from 9pm.

LICK, which aims to be a safe space for up to 600 women, has private booths, an outdoor garden, and top DJs playing everything from hip-hop to grime and R&B.

Teddy Edwardes, founder of LICK, said: “It’s important for women to have spaces where they feel comfortable and safe to be themselves. There’s a real lack of diversity on the LGBT+ scene, and it’s extremely important that we get more representation for trans, non-binary and queer people of colour; that’s where LICK comes in.”
