Harry’s celebrate Pride and five years with Albert Kennedy Trust

Graham Robson June 8, 2022

To celebrate Pride this year, grooming brand Harry’s is launching a collection of bespoke artworks, in collaboration with four creators from the LGBTQ+ community, to shine a light on physical and mental safety and to raise funds for safer homes and better futures for young people, through their long-standing partnership with LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT).

Launching in July, the campaign, Safe & Proud, features limited edition prints and merch from artists expressing perspectives on what it means to feel safe. Artists include award-winning graphic designer Fox Fisher, minimalist painter Ashton Attz, multimedia artist Trackie Mcleod and illustrator Erin Aniker.

According to AKT, 24% of young people facing homelessness identify as LGBTQ+. In support of Harry’s partnership with AKT, 100% of net proceeds of the Safe & Proud campaign will be used to provide funds for AKT’s Rainbow Starter Packs, which provide financial support to find safe and secure accommodation for those who really need it.

This year marks Harry’s fifth year partnering with AKT. To celebrate, Harry’s will also be making a donation of £10,000, in addition to the funds raised through the artworks.
