Graham Munday, chair of BBW, said “We are thrilled to have received an outpouring of support for this year’s Brighton Bear Weekend locally, nationally and indeed internationally. The BBW Committee has been working hard behind the scenes to deliver a programme of events that will appeal to a wide cross section of the bear community.

“To everyone wishing us well, to everyone who will be coming along to enjoy our events, to everyone playing a part in making BBW the success it is bound to be – a huge thank you from the BBW team and on behalf of those who will benefit as a result of funds raised.”

BBW supports the Brighton Rainbow Fund, which provides needs-led, grant-based funding to Brighton & Hove-based LGBTQ+ volunteer-run groups, providing frontline services in/for: community safety, HIV/AIDS and health and community development.
