Snow White Trash, the UK’s ‘Saxy Drag Queen’, has raised a whopping £7,555 for local HIV charity the Sussex Beacon after running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday, April 6 and hosting a raffle and bingo at the Bedford Tavern after.
Writing on social media, Snow White Trash said: “Having now added the money raised from raffle and bingo ticket sales at the after the race at the Bedford Tavern, my final fundraising amount for the Sussex Beacon is £7,555. I am so incredibly honoured to have raised this huge amount of money in memory of Miss Jason, Sarah Nixon, The Vivienne, Jay Page and Maisie Trollette.
“Thank you so much to everyone who donated. I want to say a huge thank you to Simon Etheridge for the multiple, gifted personal training sessions that enabled me to do the race. Thank you to Brighton & Hove Frontrunners for all their support and encouragement, especially at the mile 25 water station Thank you to Adam Brooks for your friendship and love and for getting me through bingo afterwards. Thank you to my boyfriend for keeping me supplied with electrolytes and energy gels along the route as well as handing me my heels to cross the finish line in.

“Thank you to The Only Ruffles and everyone at Centre Stage Brighton for the mile 14 jägerbomb and the encouragement. Thank you to my mum for wiping the lipstick from my chin and helping me sew my outfit. Thank you to Sally Vate for the glitter additions. Thank you to every person who came down and cheered me on throughout the course.
“Thank you to everyone who came to the most bonkers musical bingo yet afterwards. Thank you Zencoe Massage Therapy for the sports massages that got me through my training. I’m sure I’ve missed someone but thank you to everyone who made the Brighton Marathon possible and got me to £7,555.”

“Gareth Honor, RJ Campinuff, Ryan Lewis and Snow White Trash all achieved fantastic times, with Snow even stopping briefly ahead of the finish line to don a pair of heels (yes, really!), before then hopping on stage to perform at the Bedford Tavern for the fabulous Bonkers Musical Bingo!
“The collective amount raised by the four is really phenomenal, totalling more than £13,000, with Snow White Trash alone raising a truly magnificent £7,500+! Once again, our warmest, heartfelt thanks and congratulations to each and every one of you Gareth, RJ, Ryan and Snow (and many thanks indeed to everyone who has so generously supported you).”
