Brighton Queens of Snowdonia!

Drag Queens to climb Mount Snowdon in 2017 for charity.

Mount Snowdon

Are you a healthy person? Do you fancy a challenge? Are you looking to do something good for charity?

If your answer to any of these questions if yes, in 2017 you can join Miss Roxy Ritz on her walk for charity up Mount Snowdon to raise money for Sussex Beacon, Macmillan Cancer Research, Cancer is a Drag, and Terrence Higgins Trust.

Grab a frock and wig, get your rucksack and hiking boots out of the cupboard and join the team of drag queens climbing Mount Snowdon next year.

Miss Roxy Ritz

Miss Roxy Ritz who is organising the climb, said: “I was supporting one of my drag queen friends, Crystal Ball who was performing at a local venue and went outside to get some fresh air. I was speaking to one of the venue locals, who mentioned they lived in Wales near Snowdonia, which got me talking about Priscilla Queen of the desert,… after going back inside I did a little thinking and then it came to me… Queens of Snowdonia!

“The idea of drag queens hiking up Snowdonia, excited me so for the next couple of days I built on the idea, asked a few people too see what they thought about it, lo and behold, Queens of Snowdonia was born…”

“I messaged a couple of drag queen friends I know in Brighton, about my idea, they accepted the challenge and agreed to help me. So far I will be joined by Miss Jason, Dave Lynn, Betty Swollocks, Sissy Sucks and Stephanie Von Clitz.

Eventually Roxy wants to get at least 20 drag queens together to do this walk and raise £10.000 for 4 mainstream charities, The Sussex Beacon, Macmillan Cancer, Cancer is a Drag, and Terrence Higgins Trust (THT).
