Brighton & Hove Trans Day of Remembrance arrangements (TDOR) Sunday 17th November

Organisers of Trans Day of Remembrance events in the city have issued a city wide invitation for all trans, non-binary, intersex, gender-variant folk, and allies to attend  for Trans Day of Remembrance  being marked in the city on Sunday 17th November 2019.
There are two events running in Brighton this year.  The Organisers wish to thank  those involved in the community consultation, in particular to partner groups Trans Pride Brighton, QTIPoC Narratives, English Collective of Prostitutes which enabled these events to be planned and coordinated.
Dorset Gardens’ Methodist Church  Service: 1:30-2:30pm, as a space of faith and belief.  With Rainbow Chorus and RC+, light refreshments provided.

The BMECP Centre  from 3-7pm – an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of those lost. There will  be activities to take part in, sharing of creative work, space to socialise.
Veggie/vegan catering will be provided for a community meal at the BMECP event. (buffet, including gluten free options.)

All trans, non-binary, intersex and gender-variant folk, and allies welcome. The Organisers politely ask for police to not attend, either on or off duty.

These events have kindly been funded by Trans Pride Brighton & Hove, and The Clare Project. Support and signposting is also being provided on the day from MindOut.
