TODAY at B RIGHT ON LGBT Festival: Learn more about your mental health with MindOut

On Thursday February 9 there is a full day of activities regarding mental health and how it affects the lives of LGBT+ people.

Go along to the Phil Starr Pavilion in New Steine Gardens from 10am and get involved in the activities and workshops taking place all day. You can Meet Up with MindOut and discover exactly what they do.

Learn more about mental health and how it intersects with LGBT+ identities. There will be an activity table with mindful and fun activities, bite-sized information, quizzes and conversation to stimulate learning about wellbeing and how you can help yourselves and others.

MindOut is a mental health service run by and for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people offering online chat, advocacy and and anti-homophobia training.


11am-12pm: Films about lived experience of mental health

Workshop programme:

12.30-1.30pm: Sleep Matters workshop

1.30-2.30pm: Assertiveness workshop

2.30-3.30pm: Peer Support workshop

4-5pm: Mindfulness Meditation

Event open from 10am-5pm. Free entry.
