American Express supports the Community Village at Brighton Pride 2018

American Express continues its partnership with Brighton & Hove Pride by supporting the 2018 Community Village.

THE Community Village will give local charities and community groups an opportunity to meet festival goers, display the work they do to support and advance LGBT+ causes.

Brighton & Hove Pride, takes place from August 3-5, 2018 is the UK’s biggest LGBT+ Pride Festival and also the biggest annual festival in Brighton and Hove. Last year it attracted over 400,000 participants and visitors from across Sussex and further afield.

This year’s event, themed Colour my World is expected be the most colourful yet, celebrating the original eight colour Rainbow flag created 40 years ago. This year will also mark the tenth year of American Express colleague participation in the Brighton Pride Community Parade with more than 100 colleagues taking part in the Parade and many more lining the route with family members and friends.

The Community Village will be located next to Gate A at the southernmost tip of Preston Park where you will find charity and community stalls, the Family Diversity Area, the Well Being Tent, the Meeting Tent and the Rotunda Ballroom. The Community Village will be open to festival goers on Saturday, August 4 from 12-7pm.
