PREVIEW: That’ll be the day: 30th Anniversary Special

August 20, 2015

Celebrate 30 years of the nation’s favourite rock n roll party in Eastbourne!

That'll Be The Day

The legendary That’ll Be The Day rocks into the Congress Theatre, Eastbourne on Sunday, August 23 with its 30th Anniversary Special.

The nation’s favourite rock ‘n’ roll variety spectacular was conceived by Worthing-born Trevor Payne. He decided to create a showcase of his favourite artists’ songs as an experiment and all these years later the show is still going strong!

Trevor, Gary and the gang have kept the format the same, but added a fantastic line-up of their favourite hits from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s, plus of course, the trademark madcap comedy, complete with silly costumes and wigs. Not forgetting the celebrity impressions and the teams own special versions of the adverts of yesteryear.

The deep-rooted fan base this show has already gained is testament to the infectious enthusiasm and energised pace constantly maintained on stage, as if every time was the first time.

That’ll Be The Day will put a smile on your face, make sure you don’t miss out on the biggest party in town. Experience for yourselves the best rock ‘n’ roll party in 30 years!
