RC+ win award for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Trans and Nonbinary Culture Participation’

November 15, 2021

On Wed 10 Nov The Federation of Gay Games recognised RC+ at their annual conference in Brighton for ‘Outstanding Contribution to Trans and Nonbinary Culture Participation’.  This award celebrates an organisation or individual in the Host City or Host Country which has contributed greatly to the inclusion of Trans and Non-Binary people in culture. RC+ members Hazel and Chair of trustees Fin collected the certificate and medal.  Then all took turns in holding and wearing them. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the very best of LGBTQ+ inclusive community focused and organised events.

Rainbow Chorus member Dr Sam Hall was individually recognised for the long list of sterling hard work he puts in for women, trans and nonbinary folk. It was fabulous that so many from RC+ were there to cheer him on.

Tim from the Rainbow Chorus  committee said  ‘This was a fabulous honour to be awarded and RC+ thank the Gay Games Federation and those hard working individuals who got RC+ off the ground in the first place.’
