Over the last 10 years, singer songwriter Osaro has performed at an array of Brighton Pride events. He has hosted a float in the parade, performed at the Calabash Tent, performed on the main stage and more recently at the Pride Village Party. This year he will be performing on the community stage in Victoria Gardens.

His engaging and uniquely Brighton styled music has charted internationally and he has received national and international radio play.

Earlier this year he reached number 1 in the Brighton music charts with his jubilant single Take It Off. The accompanying video for the single was featured on Latest TV, including on his own show Osaro: New Music Alert.

Osaro, a talented live performer, has played and performed across the UK at legendary clubs including Ministry of Sound, Pacha and Gatecrasher. He is a true Brighton treasure lighting up seaside life with his wonderful generosity of spirit and lust for life.

His latest adventure for Latest TV, The Latest After Party captures his character perfectly and has become a mainstay of local viewing.

Osaro said: “I am really looking to performing, as it’s my 10th anniversary of performing at Brighton Pride. Brighton Pride has been really important to me, as it is where my music career started. It has been an inspiration for me to create and has been a focal point of my work as an artist and is the platform from where I release my new material, which has now gone worldwide. The support that I have received when performing has enabled me to develop confidence and feel accepted as a gay person of colour. If I inspire people through my music or just represent diversity then that is my job done”.
