Well-known for her work with local choirs, as a professional singer for LGBTQ weddings and funerals and her confidence-building workshops, Aneesa Chaudhry has bounced back with renewed vigour following lockdown and has a major gig coming up at the Brunswick Pub on December 5, featuring her Eastern Flavours Band.

Three highly respected local artists all Golden Handbag Award winners come together in December to sing at the Latest Music Bar at Aneesa Chaudhry’s Christmas Cracker Gig. The night will include the power house singer Jennie Castell and the beautiful voice of Nick Ford.
Aneesa Chaudhry, the musical director of the Rainbow Chorus has been appointed musical director of the new European Queer Choir. She will lead the choir on its journey to perform at the largest LGBT Singing Festival in the World at GALA Choruses, Denver Festival 2016, in Colorado, USA next July.
Following a recent grant from the Rainbow Fund, the Rainbow Chorus have established monthly singing groups for those wishing to develop their confidence and play a part in the full chorus programme.

Jazz chanteuse Aneesa Chaudhry will be opening this years Golden Handbag Show on Sunday, June 21 at the Brighton Metropole Hilton. Aneesa, who is musical director of the Brighton based Rainbow Chorus, has built up an international reputation as a jazz performer appearing at festival all over the world including the ‘Rhythm of the Earth World Music Festival’ in Bangkok, the ‘Sappho Garden of Arts Festival’ in Lesvos, ‘Jazz on the Park’ in Soho, London and the ‘Isle of White International Jazz Diva’s Festival’.
During LGBT History Month, Aneesa Chaudhry will be bringing some amour to the Metro Deco Cafe in Kemptown on Sunday, February 15, with a little soiree entitled With Love From Me To You. Aneesa will be singing songs of Love, from her wide repertoire of songs. For as Aneesa says: “There is always more to Love than meets the eye!”
To many Aneesa Chaudhry is best know as musical director of the Rainbow Chorus, Brighton’s only LGBT choir. On Sunday night (December 7) at the Brunswick in Hove she showed the audience exactly how accomplished a musician, singer and performer she is. The Brunswick was packed to the rafters with friends, supporters and singers from the Rainbow Chorus who created a wonderful supportive ambiance to give Aneesa the opportunity to showcase her impressive vocal talents.
