Ireen Wust

Out lesbian Ireen Wust has won a gold medal for Holland in the speed skating event. This is her second gold after winning the 3,000m in Turin in 2006.

Wust told the Washington Post:
"Pulling all the pieces together, I’m so proud and happy. I can’t describe how happy I am. I don’t have words for it. I think I’m the happiest person on Earth right now.”
