Michael Becker, agent of one of Germany's top footballers, has referred to a number of members of the national team as a "bunch of gays".

A spokesman for the Justin Campaign said:
"In referring to the German national team as a 'bunch of gays' and by suggesting the Germans’ more attractive style of play was down to their alleged homosexuality, Becker has revealed a bigoted and backward attitude which, sadly, is still all too common within football.

"The Justin Campaign hopes that this latest example of ignorance will highlight the importance of dealing with the issue of homophobia within the game. We also urge all the major football governing bodies to increase their efforts in tackling this disturbing issue that continues to blight the beautiful game."
