Ventriloquist/stand up comedian Paul Zerdin will be taking Sponge Fest to 26 cities and towns around the UK. He will be at Hastings White Rock Theatre on Saturday, September 25, Brighton Pavilion on Thursday, October 14, and the Leicester Square Theatre on October 12 and 13.

Zerdin, who is the first ventriloquist to ever to headline the Comedy Store and who was recently seen on ITV1’s Comedy Rocks, hosted by Jason Manford,  will also be heading for Montreal’s Just For Laughs comedy festival in July.

Sponge Fest sees Paul bring three very different characters to life – the cheeky pre-adolescent Sam, belligerent OAP Albert and precocious infant Baby.

With a ‘set closer’ that always involves some serious audience participation, who knows what Zerdin will have in store for audiences around the UK.

“If you thought the words brilliant and ventriloquist could not exist in the same sentence, go and see Paul Zerdin for some brutal re-education ....” Evening Standard.

Technically immaculate, it’s what he does with his slick talent that really sets him apart.  His relationship with the characters has all the dramatic tension of a real life double act”  The Guardian.

****”Pure audience gratifying magic” Time Out.

Simply put, Zerdin is the man who can make ventriloquism look cool” The Stage.
