The Sussex ME Society that cares for many of the estimated 6,000 people affected by Myalgic Encephalopathy or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome across Sussex is holding a special medical meeting on September 9, at Hove Town Hall.

The meeting will cover the diagnosis and management of the debilitating illness that can follow a viral infection or trauma and is affecting an increasing number of LGBT people.

Kemptown MP Simon Kirby is to introduce specialist clinician and researcher Dr Esther Crawley and Caroline Soar, NHS manager of the specialist Sussex ME/CFS Service.
