Brighton Police and Coroner are investigating the circumstances of the death of a 59 year old man at the Brighton Sauna, Grand Parade on Friday December 16, 2011.

He arrived at 8pm. He was found collapsed in a private cabin by the sauna at 10pm and despite efforts to resuscitate him, he sadly died soon afterwards.

The death is NOT being treated as suspicious, but police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen him that evening, to help establish what caused him to collapse.

The man is described as a white male, medium to stocky build, 59 years old, average height, very short cropped grey hair and a silver earring in his left ear.

Sussex Police would like to thank the staff and customers at the sauna that evening for their help, understanding and patience, and apologise for any inconvernience caused whilst the initial circumstances were being established.

PS Alex Evans, the LGBT Liaison Sergeant said:
