I heard yesterday - from a friend - that Pride was having its AGM.  Yesterday.
 
I bought membership for me and my friend last year and assumed that - along with most organised organisations - a membership might run for a year.
 
Not so.  It's a four-and-a-half-month membership.  What logic in that?
 
I spoke with a Trustee only the day before who didn't tell me that the AGM was happening.
 
Now I'm told by another Trustee that I was sent loads of emails encouraging me to renew.
 
Not so.
 
Never heard a word from Pride.  I never hear from Pride.
 
After endless emails yesterday I discovered where the AGM would happen but still no idea as to when.
 
I'm upset about all this because, whilst the Park on August 7 wasn't really in my diary, me, Pasha Ibiza and Sir Norman Wisdom, London friends and their dogs were looking forward to Sunday's dog show.  

Now, I'm not so sure.
