Brighton and Hove City Council and Sussex Police have agreed to fund a trust and confidence survey, the first piece of work to be carried out by the recently re-established LGBT Community Safety Forum.
The survey will build upon the excellent work carried out by Dr Kath Browne in "Count me in Too" and will create for the first time a base line indicator of levels of trust and confidence between the LGBT community, the Police and Brighton and Hove Council.
Chris commented:
"This new survey, is exactly the type of project the Community Safety Forum should be commissioning, and I am pleased that the council and the police have given the group their backing. I'm looking forward to working with all agencies as we more forward with this programme of work, and I'm particularly looking forward to the next public meeting of the forum in March where we will discuss this project and future projects the LGBT community wish to commission"
The date for the March event will be published in the March issue of Gscene.
