The Brighton Sauna raised £1,156.13 for THT South at their Christmas Party in December.

The money was raised with a £5 donation from the sauna from every door entry fee on the day, plus over 20 raffle prizes, a few donations (including a cash donation from the Sauna) and some money from the collection tin on the counter.

Prizes included a helicopter flight and lunch, Sunday dinner for two at 112 Church Street and a chef experience at Sam’s restaurant.

A spokesperson for THT South, said:
"We would like to say a massive thank you to the staff and customers of The Brighton Sauna for their fantastic donation of £1,156.13 from their annual Christmas party. It was a fantastic evening with entertainment from Tammy Twinkle and the stripper, Teddy Bear. The money raised will go directly to the Sauna Fastest service, a Rapid HIV testing service every Wednesday evening, which is free and confidential. A Big thank you again."

Adam Bailey, one of the sauna owners, said:
“We are very proud to support THT and thank them very much for the condoms and lube they provide all year round.  It is great to see them put the money raised back into the FastTest service held at our sauna, as this makes it very transparent, and we can see the results first hand from what the money has been spent on.  We are also proud to be the first Sauna to allow this type of service on-site.”
