Two men have been found guilty of the homophobic murder of Shaun Fitzpatrick who was killed on the way home from a bar in Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
Andrius Dunauskas and Raminas Balseris beat Mr Fitzpatrick so badly that the police officers who found him at first thought that he had been shot in the face.
The judge in the case said that Mr Fitzpatrick had been injured in such a terrible way by the two men "for no other reason than contempt for his sexuality".
Mr Fitzpatrick's sister said, in a statement issued on behalf of the family,:
"We pray that these evil men never walk the streets of Northern Ireland again, because our Shaun won't".
