Anastasia Beaumont-Bott, chair of the Conservative gay rights group LGBTory, has said that she plans to vote for Labour in the general election.

Beaumont-Bott said she made this decision after David Cameron failed to reprimand Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling for saying that bed and breakfast owners should be allowed to turn away gay couples from their establishment. Despite calls for Cameron to dismiss Grayling, he has so far taken no action.

Talking to The Independent she said that now felt "guilty" for having advised LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people to vote for the Tories.

Ms Beaumont-Bott said:
"I want to go on record to say don't vote Conservative. I'd go as far to say that I'll vote Labour at this general election."
