Diva magazine's auction of a signed photo of Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova raised £310 for the Save the Rhino fund.

The former world number one tennis player, who is the main feature in this month's edition of Diva magazine, gave bidders the chance to own the collectors item via online auction site, EBay.

The auction lasted for 10 days and raised £310 for Martina’s chosen charity Save the Rhino.

Cathy Dean, Director of Save the Rhino International, said:
“Martina is such a star; she has supported us for years. Her help now is so valuable, because despite our best efforts, rhino poaching is at a 15-year high. The £310 raised from the sale of this signed photo is enough to pay the salary of one of our game scouts for a year – every bit really does help.”
