Emma Speed from Liverpool and Will Hadfield from Manchester have been chosen to be the faces of Manchester Pride 2011. Runners up were Craig Nordon and Holly Keenaghan.

A panel of judges, including; Jackie Crozier (festival director of Manchester Pride), Andrew Stokes, (chairman of Manchester Pride), Rachel Joseph (celebrity photographer) and Anthony Crank (actor, broadcaster and DJ), selected the finalists earlier this week.

The winners have won two VIP passes to Manchester Pride’s Big Weekend, which starts today, and the honour of being the face of Manchester Pride’s marketing campaign and Visit Manchester’s gay and lesbian campaign.

Jackie Crozier, festival director of Manchester Pride, said:
“The standard of entries we received was extremely high, and all the judges faced a very tough decision. We’re absolutely thrilled with our winners. Will and Emma will be doing some photo shoots over the Big Weekend so it’s all very exciting.”
