In response to the recent attack in Trafalgar Square, and concerns about a rise in the number of homophobic attacks in London, and previous hate attacks, a silent, candle-lit vigil has been organised in Trafalgar Square on Friday October 30, 8pm.

The event organisers state that the aim of the vigil is to show the world that this kind of behaviour is unacceptable in London.

Liberal Democrats are organising a presence at the vigil through DELGA, the Lib Dem campaign group for equality.
