After the Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling said that bed and breakfast owners should be allowed to turn away gay people, Labour claims the Tories are "
hiding him away".
Ben Bradshaw MP, Labour’s Culture Secretary, said:
“The Conservative Party have hidden Chris Grayling away since his disgraceful remarks, but they can't hide the truth from the electorate.
“David Cameron hasn’t changed his party on equality, and he hasn’t shown the leadership necessary to admit that what Grayling said was wrong.
"What is critical at this election is whether David Cameron is for real and whether the Tory party has changed. Now even the founder of the Conservative equality group doesn't believe the Tories have changed - it is astonishing for a leading Conservative activist to admit that the insides of David Cameron's party are ‘not what the people are led to believe’."
