Father Richard Rohr
Father Richard Rohr, a Catholic priest who publicly supports gay rights, is to talk at the Greenbelt Festival. The festival, which has been held annually in England since 1974, is a music event with a strong religious and spiritual theme.

Rohr, who lives in a hermitage behind in New Mexico, has been criticised by fellow Catholics as being "dangerous" due to his views on homosexuality and abortion. He publicly supports Soulforce, a gay rights advocacy group.

Gene Robinson, the openly gay Episcopal Church bishop of New Hampshire, gave a series of talks at the festival last year.
