Gay male sex worker to speak in Croydon

A gay male sex worker and trade union leader is to address a meeting in Croydon. Thierry Schaffhauser will be speaking at 8 pm on Tuesday May 4 at The Brief, George Street, Croydon.

Thierry Schaffhauser is president of the GMB-IUSW, Adult Entertainment branch. He has recently contributed articles to The Guardian, and has written about the problems and contradictions in the recent changes in the law on prostitution. He’s also scheduled to speak alongside Ken Livingstone and Tony Benn at the May Day Rally in Trafalgar Square.

The meeting is organised by  CAGS (Croydon Area Gay Society) as part of the series “The Brief Encounter”. It is free and open to all. Following the talk Mr Schaffhauser will answer questions from the audience.
