CHE (Campaign for Homosexual Equality) is asking its members to quiz local election candidates on what they plan to do for LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered) people.

CHE has prepared a list of questions for candidates, and plans to publish an analysis of the answers. With a close-run election expected, CHE believes that the votes of LGBT people nationwide could well be critical.

Candidates will be asked nine questions, covering issues ranging from the Human Rights Act to the need for people to have their marriages dissolved before they can officially change gender.

The full list of questions can be found here.
