24th London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival

I Killed My Mother

The 24th LLGFF (London Lesbian and Gay Film Festival) opened this week with the screening of The Secret Diaries of Miss Anne Lister.

The film is a period drama set in 19th-century England and focuses on a lesbian couple struggle to maintain their relationship.

The festival run for two weeks until March 31. Highlights include To Die Like a Man which is story of a disillusioned drag performer; Two Spirits which explores the diverse histories of gender and sexuality in Native American cultures and I Killed My Mother. the multi-award winning debut from Xavier Dolan about the troubled relationship between a defiant teen and his mother.
