Al Start Band

RGD (Rapunzel Gets Down) is a night of oestrogen-fuelled fun featuring folk, comedy and rock at the Hove-based women-only performance night.

The March event features:
The Al Start Band which is Queer Folk at its queerest! Ukuleles, bazukis, funny stories and ditties for big kids! "Some girls are just born to perform" Diva.

Also appearing are Brighton duo, The Wellingtons. “With harmonies so
beautifully crisp and their whimsical mystique, you could easily fall in
love with both of these girls, Brighton’s own Cocorosie."

Quirky performer Anna in the Aviary completes the evening with her electro acoustic sounds.

The night ends with the RGD ‘micro-disco’, an hour or so’s pose-free boogie to soul, tamla and disco from DJ Jules.
