The Brighton Gay Men's Chorus is to stage its first ever Christmas show, entitled Santa's Coming with the Brighton Gay Men's Chorus!, this December.
In this glittering extravaganza the Snow Queen rescues the Brighton Gay Men’s Chorus from performing just a routine Christmas concert. With the help of a little magic, and their special guests The Lorraine Bowen Experience, Erica Thornton and soprano Red Grey, the Chorus will take you on a musical journey showing you what it's like growing up gay at Christmas.
Chairman Silvio Grasso said:
"The Brighton Gay Men's Chorus will be bringing the city its distinctive musical twist on the holiday season.
"We are also excited to be invited by Raymond Gubbay to host Make The Yuletide Gay at the Barbican on December 19, when our special guest will be 60s Princess of Pop Sandie Shaw.
"All our winter appearances benefit from the masterful musical leadership of Ignacio Jarquin and our talented West-End director Carole Todd. I would like to reassure everybody that no reindeer were harmed in the staging of these productions."
Santa's Coming with the Brighton Gay Men's Chorus! is on Sunday December 13 at 4pm and 8pm at The Old Market, Upper Market Street, Hove. Box Office: 01273 736222.
