The Brighton Festival Chorus Summer Concert this year will comprise a programme of Fauré and Bruckner. It will take place at St Bartholomew's Church on Saturday, July 17 from 7.30 to 9.30pm.

A spokesman for the Chorus said:
"The beautiful sounds of Fauré are perfect for a summer's evening. This concert includes the well-known Requiem alongside the less familiar Cantique de Jean Racine, a hauntingly hymn-like work, and some of Bruckner's romantic Motets. Come and support Brighton Festival Chorus for this fund-raising performance in the unique atmosphere of St Bart's Church. The choir will perform the Requiem from memory."
