Brighton Women’s Centre is offering low-cost workshops for women who want to develop more confidence and enjoy writing in supportive groups.

The Expanding Horizons project offers eight confidence-building workshops on Thursday mornings and eight creative writing workshops on Saturday mornings. The workshops run as courses and are not drop-in sessions.

Brighton Women’s Centre welcomes all women, including survivors of domestic violence; refugees; asylum-seekers; women who are young and/ or lone parents to participate in creative activities. These workshops are not therapy groups; they offer low-cost opportunities for women to meet others and develop creative interests and skills.

Cost: £16 for eight sessions, payable weekly or in advance.

For details and application form, email project co-ordinator Sheila McWattie:  sheilamcwattie@hotmail.com or call 01273 721481.

Closing date for applications: Friday December 4
