Two dogs who recently arrived at Dogs Trust Shoreham are looking for two extra-special homes far away from the maddening crowds where
'countryside walks, swimming and cuddles are top of their list'.
A spokeswoman for the Trust said:
"Toby is a gorgeous five-year-old male greyhound who is a loveable rogue with a real cheeky character. He is good with dogs and cats and he can live with kids aged 10 years and over. Toby’s also very laid back, so much so that he is often found on the floor gazing up at you or snoozing the day away!
"Benny on the other hand is a stunning four year old male Golden Retriever who has a real soft spot for tummy rubs or a tickle behind the ears. He is good with other dogs and teenagers but needs testing with cats. Benny’s favourite pastime is snoozing in front of the fire after a hearty meal.

"Toby and Benny both however suffer from canine epilepsy, which means that they sometimes have seizures due to strange activities whizzing around in their brains. Both these boys are on special medication which means that they can still enjoy a normal and happy life.
“These two boys have become real favourites with the staff - they have wonderful personalities and bring a real smile to our faces especially with all their funny antics.
"The most important thing to bear in mind is that there is no reason why an epileptic dog cannot lead a normal life. Both of these handsome boys are on our Foster Scheme which means that their veterinary bills are covered by Dogs Trust.”
Both dogs are to be rehomed separately.
