Pride in Brighton & Hove is casting out a spell to witches, ghouls, goblins, ghosts, wizards, warlocks and vamps to dress up, celebrate Halloween and help Pride with their first ever street collection day on Saturday October 31.

To get the party started they will be joining the cast of the Rocky Horror Show in an attempt to break the world record for the biggest Time Warp dance on Brighton seafront from 10am. The record attempt will be filmed by The Paul O’Grady Show and attended by Richard O’Brien himself!

After the morning’s pelvic-thrusting workout it will be back to central Pride HQ to join the rest of the ‘Trick or Treaters’ when volunteers will be paired up and sent out to collect money for Pride in Brighton’s City Centre.

Pride is looking for a team of around 50 volunteers between 10am-6pm; 10am-1pm for the Rocky Horror Time Warp and 2pm-6pm for the main street collections. Whether you can spare just a couple of hours or would like to help all day they look forward to hearing from you and you could be a winner too as there’s a prize for the most outrageous fancy dress and the team that collect the most money for Pride during the day.
