If the Conservatives win the forthcoming election David Cameron has pledged to prioritise a vote to repeal the Hunting ban.

Simon Burgess, Labour & Co-op Parliamentary Candidate for Brighton Kemptown is urging G-scene readers to visit:

to watch a short video  released at what used to be the peak of the hunting season, it features Tony Robinson, Jenny Seagrove, Hilary Benn and Patrick Stewart.

"I campaigned against blood sports for many years and was very pleased to finally get the ban, barbaric practises have no place in a modern society. If we allow animals to be treated that badly in the name of 'sport' it doesn't bode well for us respecting our fellow human beings. I am appalled that David Cameron has stated that if he and the Conservatives were to be elected then having a vote to drop the ban would be one of his top priorities. I would never support the dropping of the ban, we should be leaving the dark ages behind not heading back towards them."
