A speeding dating event between 12 young people and 12 Brighton and Hove Councillors saw Lib Dem Councillor Paul Elgood voted 'most in touch with youth issues'.

The event at Hove Town Hall today was part of the Council's 'Get Involved' event.

The young people rotated around the room and had three minutes to ask each Councillor questions on issues of their choice.

Paul commented:
"If there was ever an award worth having this is it.  It was really enjoyable to engage with young people who were extremely astute and asked really searching questions. There is no question that all of them have tremendous potential for their future education and career choices."
