Rapunzel Gets Down, the women-only event at The Sanctuary Café’s basement in Hove, brings "
oestrogen-soaked sounds" from three unique acts on Saturday June 12.
A spokeswoman for the event said:
"Strawberries and a Peach (aka Robyn Platt) – "A Box of Joy" - headlines with her beautiful vocals, miniature harp and musical inspiration."

"Also on the bill is the lesbian love-child of Victoria Wood and Tim Minchin, Hannah Brackenbury. Funny, musically talented and distinctly cheeky, she recently reached the quarter finals of the Musical Comedy Awards 2010."

"Taylor Madison Damion of Emberhoney completes a perfect evening with her other worldly enchantment – haunting, timeless compositions sprinkled with cabaret charm, sung by a sultry siren from the dark side."

The night ends with the RGD ‘micro-disco’. The event runs from 8.00pm till around midnight and live performances start at 9.00pm.
