As a precursor to the Garden Gadabout 2010, the Sussex Beacon presents a new event for May -
Question Time for Gardeners.
A spokesman for the event said:
"It has felt like a long cold winter, but at last the spring is breaking through, and gardens everywhere are waking up. At last, gardeners can begin to work their magic on their plots in earnest. As every year new challenges sprout as surely as blooms, and with them come questions. That’s why this year, as a precursor to The Garden Gadabout, The Sussex Beacon hope to provide some answers with their brand new fundraising event - Question Time for Gardeners.
"This event is part of the Brighton Festival Fringe and will take place on May 13 at The Old Market, Hove. An expert panel will gather to answer peoples gardening dilemmas."
Bridgette Saunders horticultural lecturer and coordinator of The Sussex Beacon’s Garden Gadabout, said:
“
We think this will be a great event for all gardeners, people just starting out as well as those more experienced. One of the joys of gardening is the new challenges it brings every year. We have an amazing panel, all giving their time for free to support a fantastic and vital local charity”
"Our expert panel will be tackling your green fingered queries, from seeds to slugs, potatoes to primulas and weeds to wallflowers. Bring a question or just come and learn from some of the best in the business."
Question Time for Gardeners, May 13 at The Old Marker, Upper Market Street, Hove.
