The Pride Business Forum was set up to improve communication between local businesses and Pride following a suggestion made at a public meeting in November. A number of local businesses have taken advantage of the open invitation, whether by asking questions, contributing their opinion, or giving advice or suggestions to the Pride Board.

The Forum's Independent Moderator is local businessman Chris Gull.

Businesses who feel they’d like to become part of this Forum are welcome to advise Pride of their interest, and will be invited to the next meeting. The membership of the Forum for this year’s event will then be frozen for future meetings.

A meeting has been planned for  Thursday February 11, though Pride have suggested that if they are ready to release details of the proposals for this year’s event before then, they will be happy to attend an extra, earlier, meeting to share these details with the Forum.
