John Prescott brought his election "battle bus" to Brighton for a whistle stop election visit.

Simon Burgess, the Labour candidate for Brighton Kemptown and Chris Cooke, chair of the St James Street LAT (Local Action Team) and Spectrum Trustee joined former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott on a walk about in George Street and St James Street.

Simon Burgess said:
"I was very pleased to bring John Prescott to the St.James's Street area, he loved the vibrancy and diversity of the area and the people. I think it is very important that senior politicians meet and hear from local people so that if I am elected they will better understand the issues and concerns that I will want to champion in parliament."
