Not in My Neighbourhood Week gives local agencies such as the Police and other services involved in community safety the opportunity to tell residents what work is being done in the area to make their community a safer place to live. The week runs from Monday November 2 to Friday 6.
There will be a Community Safety Event to give residents the opportunity to meet and learn more about services in their area that are working to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour.
At the event a number of stands will dispense advice and information about how people can play a part in community safety. It is a chance to find out what is being done to keep people safe, and it's an opportunity for them to tell local organisations what concerns them the most
Services Involved include:
Neighbourhood Policing Team, Local Action Teams/ Community Safety Groups, Drug & Alcohol Services, Sussex Fire Services, Trading Standards
The event will bring local communities from Eastern Road, Tarner, St James Street , Queens Park & Craven Vale, & the Bristol Estate together to say no to crime in their neighbourhoods.
The Community Safety Event is being held on Tuesday November 3, from 2pm - 4pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Upper St James Street , Kemptown.
